Train 21 of 62 known sticking points

Your train is sold out

Use the waitlist, watch for batch releases, or try a transfer route. Do not give up.

Sold out !

Seats release in batches — and a waitlist exists.

What you'll see

If the train is full, seats are released in batches and a waitlist exists:

"No tickets" · "Sold out"
中国 App 里显示为:无票 / 售罄
Error-text level: L2 (observed wording). Exact in-app strings are being verified.

Why it happens

High-speed trains release seats in batches: 15 days, 48 hours and 24 hours before departure. A waitlist (候补) auto-buys cancelled seats.

Fastest fix, free: Join the waitlist (候补) as early as possible; also check back at the 48h and 24h release windows for newly freed seats.

The full fix sequence (free)
  1. Join the waitlist (候补) — the earlier, the higher your queue position.
  2. Check for batch releases: 15 days, 48 hours and 24 hours before departure.
  3. Try a different train or class.
  4. Consider a transfer route with two connecting trains.

When the fast fix isn't enough

In the kit

The kit gives the waitlist steps and release-time table.

1. The waitlist how-to

How to join 候补 and what to watch.

2. The trigger matrix

Which routes sell out fastest.

3. Offline printable version

The release-time table as a printable card.

If nothing works

If the waitlist does not clear:

  1. Book a transfer route with two trains.
  2. Try a nearby city as the first leg, then a local train.
  3. Check again at the 24-hour release window.
